On March 11, the Arvo Pärt Centre Foundation and NG Investeeringud signed a funding agreement for the endowment fund.
Founded in 2021, the primary activity of the Arvo Pärt Centre Foundation is to raise donations to preserve Arvo Pärt’s spiritual legacy and grow the endowment fund through investments. According to the foundation’s CEO, Michael Pärt, the goal of the endowment fund is to ensure a steady income for the Arvo Pärt Centre, with annual disbursements supporting the core activities of the Centre in preserving the values and intellectual heritage that form the basis of Arvo Pärt’s work. Jüri Käo, member of the board of NG Investeeringud OÜ, praised the foundation’s efforts in preserving and interpreting Arvo Pärt’s creative legacy. “For NG Investeeringud, it is important to contribute to Estonian culture and education. The Arvo Pärt Centre is a unique place that preserves and opens up the legacy of one of the world’s greatest composers for the world. It is an honor for us to be part of this mission,” said Käo.
