Farfalla

Brand: TRUE DESIGN

Farfalla is a contemporary reinterpretation of a historic chair designed in 1974 by Roberto Lucci and Paolo Orlandini, now revisited by Folco Orlandini for True.

An upholstered chair with iconic status, it returns with a more current presence and refined lines, while preserving its original spirit: light, distinctive, and bold.

Farfalla originates from a simple yet expressive gesture that creates a sense of movement. Its form recalls the beating of wings, from which it takes its name: each piece stands on its own, yet together they form an organic, dynamic composition.

The essence of the original remains, while the design evolves. The new version is sleeker, with a more defined and precise structure—striking a balance between memory and transformation.
